Wooster’s is a bakery in Bardwell, rural Suffolk run by young baker Will Wooster with the help and support of his family. The bakery lies at the foot of an early-nineteenth century windmill and it is rapidly gaining a reputation as a place to get some seriously good indulgent daily staples and treats – traditional artisan bread, cake and pastries. From the wide variety of sourdough, to light, soft rolls; traditional white sandwich loaves to dark-baked, dense, chewy wholemeal. And, from buttery croissant to the pesto that is slathered over oily focaccia – nothing at Wooster’s is pre-prepared or bought in. Everything is made by a Wooster.
